Advanced techniques of negotiation, team coordination training, a private keelboat and coach for you & your team; all of this and more is included in a training experience unlike anything else you have experienced in “The Voyage”!  For three full days, you will learn how people in groups communicate and how to maximize the investments of time and money you make in others.  You will learn how to encourage others and techniques for effective reprimanding of poor performance.  This course is essential for any team looking to become an unstoppable force in their industry or for anyone looking to build that team!

This event focuses on getting maximum results in a minimum amount of time.  To that end, each team attending “The Voyage” receives the following:

Intimate setting & personal application

Your own boat – Each individual group that signs up receives their own private ship.  Not only does this give you a private retreat to work in, it also gives you a staff focused solely on your goals.

• Each ship comes with an ASA certified instructor, there to work with only your people.
  
  
• Each ship also comes with a private success coach who will work with you to take the lessons from learning to action!

Advanced team building

• Team Dynamics – How does your team really talk to each other?  What other forms of communication do you regularly use?  We show you how to build cohesion and get the job done.
  
  
• Skill set inventory – Are you maximizing potential abilities?  Are you looking for who to recruit into your power team?  By inventorying skills and identifying critical gaps, our coaches show you new ways to do old tasks faster and with less stress.
  
  
• Punish & Praise – How do you praise without giving people a big head?  Must reprimanding always result in confrontation & bruised feelings?  We teach you how to avoid both of these challenges which means your people get more done – faster.

Understand & overcome resistance

Different people resist you in different ways.  We show you the different phases of resistance and the most effective techniques to “compel compliance” from the worst confrontations!

Influence & Force

This education is truly unique to Armada.  As a certified boarding officer instructor with the US Coast Guard, Greg Norte teaches you:

•          The levels of force and how to apply them.

•          When to push, when to pull, when to back away.

•          Application – you will build, and use, your own force tool belt!

•          The experience is culminated by “rules of engagement” exercise where students play out a scenario and apply force to gain compliance.

Attendance is for up to four people per ship.  When you attend The Voyage, your team will receive 2 days of advanced teamwork and negotiation training available exclusively through our program.  In addition, each team gets its own ship, instructor and coach for an additional full day of applied learning through sailing.  This three day event will change the way you work as a team forever! 

This event is only put on a few times per year and attendance is extremely limited due to the student/instructor ratio.
