Armada (noun): a large fleet, squadron or force, typically consisting of ships, which are assembled for a specific purpose.

Armada Training Solutions is a training organization the likes of which you have never seen before.  Founded on principles used to train the officers of the United States Coast Guard and harnessing the skills of top corporate salespeople and business managers, our organization brings in experts from around the country to present information relevant to your life in a way that you can understand it.

Armada’s Training is designed around three core standards

Significant emotional experience: You learn more when you are emotionally involved with the material.  With the help of our certified instructors & safety officers, you will learn first hand the tension in making the tough calls and feel the thrill of victory as you apply your new knowledge to this challenging environment.  Armada uses techniques refined by the US Coast Guard and integrates proven leadership principles so that you learn more while having the time of your life!

Personalized application:  Training is only useful when you understand how the information applies to your life in your circumstances.  Armada takes students out on ships because it is only through personal experience that you use what you learned .  We don’t just teach you theory, we teach you how YOU lead.

3. Follow-through / integration:  Armada is committed to your success.  Our courses include a follow-up system with our students so that you can use us as a constant resource as you venture into the world and immediate apply our lessons to your life.  It is our policy not just to teach, but to guide you “from seminar to success!”

Paulding and Co

An innovation in teamwork, the Paulding & Company Kitchen is unique.  Armada students get to experience culinary excellence made by their own hands.  Combining teaching and catering allows CEO Terry Paulding to share her love of good food and her creativity in the kitchen with her students.


Afterguard Sailing Academy

Afterguard Sailing Academy teaches sailing on San Francisco Bay and waters of the world. Afterguard is an American Sailing Academy (ASA) Certified Education and charter Facility dedicated to provide a “non-yelling family approach” to learning to sail. Adult and youth students, couples and families can learn to sail together as a ‘crew.’ This is achieved through recognition of leadership and cooperative support through clear communication. Personal, organizational, business/corporate application of what is common to the adventure of sailing and to the Armada program goals is clarified for participants by the Armada instructors and coaches.

 Afterguard’s primary role is as an American ASA facility for instruction and youth training. Afterguard provides ASA certifications for all levels of sailors – Basics through Ocean Passage Making, beginners to instructors.  Afterguard adds to Armada solid skills, a lot of smiles and sailing for the love of it.
